You can use PowerSearch's citation function in the "send it" area for quick and easy citation copying & pasting, as well as sending to RefWorks.

Preparing to Cite

Remember to record citation information for each item you use for your research - paper or online

  • Author(s) - (who wrote it)
  • Title - (what it is called)
  • Date of publication
  • Page numbers

For articles & webpages:

  • Source - (title of the periodical or larger work it appeared in) - for articles, chapters, or web pages
  • Volume & Issue numbers - for journals or magazines

For books:

  • Place of publication & publisher

Online items

  • Idenitfier
    • DOI
    • URL (web link address)
  • Date of access

Refworks - Learning Vidoes & Manual

  1. RefWorks on YouTube - these online videos will walk you through from RefWorks basics to all advance features. For example:
